Microneedling
for Hair loss
Strong Hair
Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure for your skin. This advanced therapy uses a precision-engineered electronic device to stimulate the skin’s natural responses by producing thousands of micro-punctures in the skin. Skin regenerates and repairs as the holes close helping to form new collagen and cells while enhancing the lower level of your skin.
Stimulating Hair Growth...
Whilst the majority of microneedling treatments are performed on the face, it can also be done on the scalp, stimulating hair growth!
Frequently Asked Questions...
Where can I get Microneedling treatment?
Scalp or anywhere with hair loss ( also helps with Alopecia)
What should I do before my treatment?
Always come with washed clean hair before you appointment to reduce chances of cross contamination.
Is microneedling treatment painful?
No. We apply a topical anaesthetic (numbing cream) before we begin to keep discomfort to a minimum.
Who is microneedling suitable for?
Microneedling is an effective, minimally invasive treatment for men and women suffering from general hair loss or thinning as well as those suffering from androgenic alopecia, alopecia areata and alopecia barbae.
How long does microneedling treatment take?
For Microneedling, it’s a good idea to plan to be with us for an hour – treatment time can vary depending on the area being treated.
Are there any side effects of microneedling?
A clear benefit of microneedling is that it requires little downtime. Immediately after the procedure, your skin will be red and flushed (like moderate sunburn). You may also experience skin tightness and mild sensitivity to the touch. This will last for around 24 to 36 hours. It’s important to keep areas clean and avoid touching.
When will I see results from microneedling?
As microneedling treatment stimulates the skin’s natural processes, it can take up to 6 weeks for visible signs of rejuvenation and repair to show. The great news is that the process continues over the following months for natural, long-lasting results.
How do I take care of my scalp after microneedling?
Your specialist may ask that you avoid washing the area, exercising and direct sunlight for 24 hours following the procedure. Ensure you are sleeping on a clean pillow case to reduce the risk of infection.
How many microneedling treatments should I have?
We recommend 3 treatments, 4-6 weeks apart. But we’ll talk through this in more detail and develop a micro-needling programme for you during your consultation.
*Individual results may vary.
